A tailored publishing system for producing consistent daily and weekly café menus from one structured content source, with built-in logic and precisely controlled layouts ensuring efficient updates across formats and languages.

The café needed a reliable way to produce frequently changing daily and weekly menus without rebuilding each layout manually or introducing inconsistencies across dates, menu types, descriptions, pricing, allergen information and language versions.
I developed a custom publishing system that connects one structured content source with purpose-built InDesign templates. Content logic is handled behind the scenes, allowing the café to maintain its menu information in one place and produce Norwegian and English versions across multiple formats, while predefined typographic, spatial and formatting rules preserve a consistent visual standard. The result is a faster, more dependable workflow with fewer repetitive tasks and greater control over every menu.
